Recently, we released new features that make onboarding 10x faster than before. In this article, we’ll show you how to easily upload your own checklists from excel, upload staff details and import standard SFBB checklists from the aquaint library.
If you’re new to aquaint, then once you’ve setup your site times and departments, you’re going to want to add your staff so that you can assign them tasks and get up and running.
To upload staff and ensure that a password link is sent to them, the following 3 columns are required as a minimum:
For example:
You can also add the additional details of their mobile number & gender, however these are not required if you do not have them to hand :
When saving your spreadsheet, you will need to click ‘Save As’ and click the dropdown below the name of your spreadsheet. You’ll then be presented with this pretty terrifying list of options, choose one of the 3 below:
Once uploaded, your staff will automatically be added with ‘Staff’ permission roles, giving them access to the mobile app, and receive an email that enables them to set their password.
You can also edit any of the added staff members details by clicking on the 3 dots icon under the ‘Action’ heading
Unless you’re in the process of opening a new site, you will most likely have a set of checklists written down somewhere. To avoid having to input these manually line by line, you are able to upload them via a spreadsheet.
Ensure your spreadsheet has one tab that includes only the items you wish to upload on it and does not include the name of the checklist. For example:
Once your checklist is uploaded, you can re-arrange the order by clicking and holding the re-arrange icon on the left of each item, edit the text, remove items or add new items to the list. When you’re happy, click Submit and your checklist will be saved as Template and can be used when assigning tasks.
You will then be presented with a new page displaying all of aquaint’s standard templates that are based off SFBB & industry good practices.
You can view each checklist by clicking on the Show Checklist button on the right of it.
You will now be able to see all of the items in the checklist and import it by clicking the Import this button.
Once you’ve imported the template to your library, you can then edit and adapt it as you please by clicking on the 3 dots next to the imported template and clicking Edit
These templates can be used as a base to build your own from, especially if you’re building from scratch.
Hopefully this article has answered all your questions around importing and uploading, but sometimes we miss things. So, if you’re still struggling to get to grips with things, drop an email to info@aquaint.co.uk and one of our team will be more than happy to help 😊
